1962 Ariel Arrow Motorcycle

This machine has now gone to a new owner - thanks for looking.

You are looking at a 1962 Ariel Arrow which I have comprehensively rebuilt over the last year or so. Work done includes:

The Arrow starts promptly hot or cold and runs very well. The clutch action is light and smooth and the gearchange is positive. Handling is excellent and braking is very good unlike many examples of the model.

The bike is very attractive, being finished in a very attractive pale gold over ivory, although it is not a "Golden Arrow". It has the correct prop stand, rear carrier and engine casing, which are missing from many Arrows on the market.

All in all, this is a fine machine which is a pleasure to ride.

It's now time for another project and a 1953 Norton ES2 has joined the garage so I need to find more space. I'd love to keep the Ariel but am just too overcrowded so it must go.

I have the V5C in my name, the bike comes with an MoT to August 2018 and of course the Arrow is eligible for free road tax. It will be MoT exempt in May 2018.
